 Travel Conditions (Summary)

 Organised Tour Contract

 ① This trip is a package tour organised and planned by the STEMX Project (hosted and planned by ONIGIRI+ Co., Ltd. and Nakara Medical Co., Ltd., with Kokusai Koryu Service Co., Ltd. as the handling travel agency). Customers participating in this trip will enter into a package tour contract with Kokusai Koryu Service Co., Ltd.
 ② The content and conditions of the contract shall be governed by the conditions stated in the promotional advertisements (including websites), this Travel Conditions document, the final itinerary provided prior to departure, and Kokusai Koryu Service Co., Ltd.'s "Travel Agency Terms and Conditions (Section on Package Tour Contracts)".

 Method of Application and Formation of Contract

 Please complete our designated application form with the required details and submit it together with the application fee per person or the full travel cost as stated in the advertising material (website, etc.). The application fee will be applied towards the travel cost. The formal application (contract formation) is established upon our receipt of both the travel application form and the application fee.

 Payment of the Travel Price

 The full travel cost must be paid no later than three weeks prior to the travel commencement date, counting backwards from the day before the travel commencement date.

 Inclusions in the Travel Cost

 1. Fees for transfers and other services explicitly stated in the itinerary
 2. Fees for optional activities included in the itinerary
 3. Sightseeing fees specified in the itinerary (guide fees, admission fees, etc.)
 4. Meal costs, taxes, and service charges specified in the itinerary
 5. Tour escort fees (a local Japanese-speaking guide will accompany the group)

 

 Items not included in the travel price

 Items other than those listed above are not included in the travel price. Examples include:
 1. Laundry, telephone charges, tips for hotel porters and maids, additional food and drink, and other personal expenses, along with any associated taxes and service charges
 2. Medical expenses for injury or illness
 3. Additional fares or charges imposed by transport operators

 


 Customer's Right to Cancel the Travel Contract

 The customer may cancel the travel contract at any time by paying the following cancellation fees. Note that the "cancellation date" is based on the time the customer notifies us of their intention to cancel during our business days and hours.

     Booking: 4 weeks prior

     Payment: 3 weeks prior

     20 days prior to 20%

     Two days prior to departure:30%

     Day before departure: 100%

 Our Disclaimer

 We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the customer arising from the following circumstances. However, this shall not apply where it is proven that our company or our appointed agent acted with intent or negligence.
 ① Natural disasters, wars, riots, or changes to the travel itinerary or cancellation of the trip resulting from these events
 ② Damages arising from accidents or fires involving transport or accommodation providers
 ③ Suspension of services by transport or accommodation providers, or changes to the travel itinerary or cancellation of the trip resulting therefrom
 ④ Changes to the travel itinerary or cancellation of the trip due to orders from Japanese or foreign government authorities, foreign entry/exit restrictions, quarantine due to infectious diseases, or any changes or cancellations arising from these
 ⑤ Accidents occurring during free time
 ⑥ Food poisoning
 ⑦ Theft
 ⑧ Delays, suspensions, schedule changes, or route alterations by transport providers, or changes to the travel itinerary or reduction in destination stay duration arising therefrom
 ⑨ Cancellation of fireworks displays due to weather conditions such as rain

 Special Compensation

 Should a customer suffer certain damages to life, body, or luggage during participation in a packaged tour due to a sudden and accidental external incident, the travel agency may, in lieu of paying death compensation, provide goods or services of equal or greater value, in accordance with the Special Compensation Provisions of the Travel Agency Terms and Conditions.

 ③ Suspension of services by transport or accommodation providers, or changes to travel itineraries or cancellation of travel resulting therefrom
 ④ Changes to the travel itinerary or cancellation of the trip due to orders from Japanese or foreign government authorities, foreign entry/exit restrictions, quarantine due to infectious diseases, or any changes or cancellations arising from these
 ⑤ Accidents occurring during free time
 ⑥ Food poisoning
 ⑦ Theft
